YOU ARE HERE: Information + School Day and Term Dates |
|
School session times are as follows: Foundation 9.05am – 12noon (1pm after November) Key Stage 1 9.05am – 12noon and 1.00pm – 3.15pm Key Stage 2 9.05am – 12.05pm and 1.00pm – 3.15pm There is a break for all children between 10.30am and 10.45am and for KS1 from 2.15pm – 2.30pm. Children may be brought into school through the front entrance, between 8.45am and 8.55am before we take them outside for our 'Wake and Shake' session. This is a specially choreographed exercise programme designed to get the circulation going and is proven to be good for helping the brain get ready for learning. We ask parents not to bring children before 8.45am as teachers must be allowed time to set up for the day, ready for the children. At the end of the day children go out of the back door and should be collected from the playground. For their own safety children are not allowed to go past the gate across the driveway unless accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons you are asked to use the side gate to enter and leave school. If for any reason you are unable to collect your child on time, please let us know as soon as possible. Supervision and access are not available after 3.15pm. There is a diary in the main office where you may record details of who is collecting your child, if it is someone other than a parent.
